Day 1: USA or Canada - Paris, France
Depart from the USA or Canada on an overnight flight to Paris.

Day 2: Paris On arrival, we are met at the airport and transferred to our hotel for a day at leisure. This evening we gather for a welcome drink followed by dinner in a local restaurant. Hotel Castille D Day 3: Paris This morning we discover the "City of Light," seeing the famous Champs-Elysées, Eiffel Tower, Place de la Concorde, Place Vendôme and Notre Dame Cathedral. After lunch we visit the great Louvre Museum to admire its priceless collection of paintings, including Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa. Hotel Castille B,L Day 4: Paris - Loire Valley - Paris We board a high-speed TGV train to Tours and visit the fairytale castle of Chenonceau. Then drive along the banks of the River Loire, seeing the great castle of Blois - scene of intrigue and treachery in the 16th century, Royal Amboise Castle and the imposing castle of Chambord. We then return to Paris for an evening at leisure. Hotel Castille B Day 5: Paris - Provence Travel south by train to Provence, with a light lunch on arrival in Avignon. Later visit the Gothic Palais des Papes, built in the 14th century and home to seven successive Popes. We then continue to our centrally located hotel to enjoy dinner independently in one of the city's delightful restaurants. Mercure Avignon Cité des Papes B,L Day 6: Provence Begin the day in Arles with a walking tour of the stunning Roman remains. Then experience the magic of the countryside with visits to the medieval hilltop town of Les Baux and Van Gogh's Asylum at St-Rémy-de-Provence. Mercure Avignon Cité des Papes B

Day 7: Provence - Nice
Drive through the glorious Provençal countryside to the historic town of Aix-en-Provence with time at leisure to wander the narrow streets and soak up the atmosphere. Continue to Nice, where we check in to our deluxe hotel, located on the famous Promenade des Anglais. Dinner is à la carte at a local restaurant. Le Méridien Nice B,D

Day 8: Nice - Eze - Monte Carlo - Nice
Explore the historic atmosphere of Nice's old town and colorful market, followed by a private visit to a local artist's studio. After lunch we drive along the famous Corniche Road. Stopping in the village of Eze, perched dramatically on the cliff top, we take in the splendid views of the coast. On arrival in glamorous Monte Carlo, sightseeing includes the extravagant Palais Princier, the residence of the royal family, and the cathedral. Enjoy a farewell dinner at the famous brasserie Café de Paris before returning to Nice. Le Méridien Nice B,L,D

Day 9: Nice - USA or Canada
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board a homebound flight. B
